{"id":109,"date":"2011-10-04T18:32:36","date_gmt":"2011-10-04T18:32:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ndutime.org\/beta\/?page_id=109"},"modified":"2011-12-05T14:48:30","modified_gmt":"2011-12-05T14:48:30","slug":"outpatient-therapy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ndutime.org\/?page_id=109","title":{"rendered":"Outpatient Therapy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Goal<\/h3>\n<p>To restore, enhance, and\/or maintain a person\u2019s level of development and alleviate symptoms that significantly interfere with their functioning in at least one area of their life.<\/p>\n<h3>OBJECTIVES<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>To assist individuals in maintaining their optimal level of functioning<\/li>\n<li>To utilize interventions, techniques, and modalities to aid individuals in alleviating symptoms that impede their growth; and<\/li>\n<li>To provide efficient and quality services at the best level of care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHO QUALIFIES<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Individuals ages 3 and above (individual, couple, group and\/or family) who:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Requires treatment in order to sustain behavioral or emotional gains or to restore cognitive functional levels, which have been impaired;<\/li>\n<li>Exhibits deficits in peer relations, dealing with authority, hyperactivity, poor impulse control, clinical depression, substance abuse, sexual-specific issues, or demonstrates other dysfunctional symptoms having an adverse impact on attention and concentration, the ability to learn, or the ability to participate in employment, educational, or social activities;<\/li>\n<li>Is at risk for developing or requires treatment for maladaptive coping strategies; and\/or<\/li>\n<li>Presents a reduction in individual adaptive and coping mechanism or demonstrates extreme increase in personal distress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Goal To restore, enhance, and\/or maintain a person\u2019s level of development and alleviate symptoms that significantly interfere with their functioning in at least one area of their life.
